Tissue Height Correction
Correcting gingival levels is often necessary to improve tooth proportions. These changes need to be accomplished prior to any restorative work including porcelain veneers. Two methods include resection (crown lengthening) to make teeth longer and grafting to repair recession. These two cases demonstrate these methods.
Case 1: This veneer case involved only some minor tissue sculpting to improve gingival harmony.
Case 2: Long teeth associated with gingival recession corrected prior to veneers to improve tooth proportions.
Case 3: Upper jaw rehabilitation with gingival sculpting and combination of all ceramic restorations and veneers.
